STI Welcomes Two New Academic Centers
STI officially marked the beginning of the construction of two new Academic Centers as it recently broke ground on the future sites of STI College - Calamba and STI College - Las Piñas.

The four-story STI Academic Center Calamba will rise on a 6,200-square-meter property along National Highway, Calamba, Laguna. The six-story STI Academic Center Las Piñas, on the other hand, will stand on a 10,000-square-meter property located at the corner of Alabang-Zapote Road and V. Guinto Street in Las Piñas City.
The new STI Academic Centers, which are set to be completed in May 2014, will house state-of-the- art facilities including classrooms equipped with LCD projectors, laboratories and simulation rooms, auditoriums, up-to-date libraries, and sports facilities for a highly conducive learning environment for the STI students in Calamba and Las Pinas.
Those attending the groundbreaking ceremonies included officials from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), local government officials, STI executives, academic personnel, employees, and students of STI College - Calamba and STI College â" Las Piñas.
These are key developments for STI. STI President and Chief Executive Officer Monico V. Jacob shares. The STI Academic Centers in Calamba and Las Piñas will be developed to rank among the most modern education establishments in the country. This further affirms STI's commitment in nurturing more Filipino youth by making quality education more accessible to them.
The construction of STI Academic Centers in Calamba and Las Pinas succeeds the inauguration of the STI Academic Center Novaliches last year and the groundbreaking of the soon-to-rise STI Academic Centers in Malolos, Caloocan, Ortigas-Cainta, and Cubao. STI is set to make more campus improvements and build more STI Academic Centers in strategic locations across the country in the coming years.
