STI Education Services Group, Inc. (STI) recently broke ground to mark the construction of the PhP 275M STI Academic Center at the heart of Lucena City in Quezon. The 6,387-square-meter property along Quezon Avenue will be housing a four-storey structure equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, conducive laboratories for hands-on learning experiences, covered basketball court, an up-to-date library, among others.
Expected to be fully operational within the year, the STI Academic Center Lucena will be able to accommodate 3,000 students enrolled in program tracks under Information & Communications Technology, Business & Management, Tourism & Hospitality Management, and Engineering.
Our campus in Lucena is part of our strategy to continue our efforts to widen our reach. We are committing ourselves to remain competitive in enhancing our facilities and continually improving the quality of education and increase the social awareness of the youth, shares STI President and Chief Executive Officer Monico V. Jacob. In fact, the new Lucena campus is set to optimize its strategic location across a park with trees that we decided to preserve, to give our students breathing space as they pursue the challenge of acquiring the skill sets they need in the future.
STI continues to invest in the expansion of its network of schools following the successful operations of the STI Academic Centers in Global City, Naga, Fairview, Alabang, Novaliches, Malolos, and Ortigas-Cainta. The completion of the half-billion STI Academic Center Caloocan is the latest addition to the growing number of STI Academic Centers in the country. The nine-storey building sits on a 14,409 square-meter property, and can now accommodate more than 9,000 students. STI Academic Center Calamba and Cubao on the other hand, are expected to open doors to the community in time for the start of classes this June.
