STI Education Systems Holdings, Inc. (STI ESH) inaugurates the newest STI Academic Center in Calamba Laguna on January 20, 2015. The towering five-storey building stands on a 7,397 square-meter property located in Brgy. Uno, National Highway, Calamba. It accommodates its students with its new and up-to-date facilities consisting of fully air-conditioned classrooms equipped with LCD projectors and LED lightning systems; a library filled with updated research materials; internet and WiFi connection; and industry-grade simulation laboratories aimed to provide a modern and conducive learning environment for its students.
The new building is designed to hold up to 3,200 enrollees taking courses in the fields of Information & Communications Technology, Business & Management, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Arts and Sciences, and Engineering for the coming school year 2015-2016.
Calamba is a strategic location, especially advantageous because of its close proximity to Metro Manila without being as highly urbanized, and its greener environment. The development of certain areas in Calamba also brings with it marked improvements in the lifestyles to a growing number of residents, leading to the increasing need to provide certain levels of education. This is why notable schools have established sites in the area in order to cater to students who do not have to travel far to receive a good education. Since STI Calamba is now a part of this areas development, we have undertaken this commitment in ramping up our educational delivery by greatly improving our facilities and providing a productive learning environment for our students. It is our principal mission to give everything our students need so they will be ready for the real world as competent and responsible members of the society, so we do our best to be at par with the continuously improving educational setting in the region, shares STI ESH Chief Executive Officer Monico V. Ensuing the completion of the recently inaugurated STI Academic Center Batangas, the ±340 million STI Academic Center Calamba is one of the four STI Academic Centers to be publicly introduced in the first quarter of this year, including the ones in Cubao and Lucena. The fruitful operations of STI Academic Centers in Global City, Naga, Fairview, Alabang, Novaliches, Malolos, Ortigas-Cainta, and Caloocan have led STI ESH to steadily take steps towards the growth of the STI network across the country.
STI ESH also operates iACADEMY, a college that provides specialized and industry-based Information and Communications degree programs; and the prestigious West Negros University (WNU) in Bacolod City.
Following the thrust of STI ESH to improve the educational landscape in the Philippines, iACADEMY has inaugurated its own eight-floor innovation center in Makati City, investing on high-end facilities such as up-to-date technology and equipment in classrooms, a Cintiq laboratory for design students, computer laboratories, auditorium, and customized student lounge.
WNU, since STI ESH's takeover in 2013, has started improvements of its facade, school facilities, and equipment in an effort to support its rich heritage by ensuring that the quality education of the university will remain globally competitive.
