STI College - Cubao joins the roster of STI Academic Centers being developed nationwide, marked recently by the groundbreaking ceremony of the almost 4,000-square meter property in 5th Avenue corner P. Tuason in Cubao, Quezon City.
The local community welcomes STI Academic Center Cubao as Socorro Brgy. Captain Joey O. de Guzman, representatives of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) led by Bellaflor Coronado, Supervisor II for HRM and Tourism and Jessie Avril, Supervisor II for Accounting and Business; together with Pena G. Medina, the OIC-Director of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) graced the momentous occasion, together with officials from STI.
STI President and CEO Monico V. Jacob believes that this milestone is not only one for STI, he elaborates by saying that, For 30 years, STI has become the partner of the Filipino community in molding socially responsible youth through real life education. This ground breaking is a symbol of a more strengthened partnership with all our stakeholders a message of our commitment to be here for the long term.
The eight-story STI Academic Center Cubao shall officially open its doors to the community in May 2014. The new home of STI College - Cubao has a floor area of approximately 8,000 square meters and will feature state-of-the-art facilities intended to arm its students with holistic, real life education. The Academic Center will house advanced laboratories and classrooms, a modernized auditorium, a roof deck gymnasium, and an up-to-date library among others.
Following the unveiling of STI Academic Centers in Global City, Naga, Fairview, Alabang, Novaliches, Malolos, and Caloocan, STI is set to upgrade more campuses into Academic Centers in strategic locations across the country in the following years.
